With more than a century of graduate success, �鶹Լ��'s Chemistry Program is proven to prepare you for an array of careers, from medicine to business. Our department is accredited by the American Chemical Society and relies on a solid foundation of research, collaboration and hands-on learning opportunities.

Prospective Students

Through hands-on opportunities, graduate-level research, internships and collaboration with faculty, you will get the chance to explore the industrial building blocks of the world, as well as fields including green chemistry and nanoscience.
Programs of Study
- Biochemistry
  
  The Department of Chemistry is committed to providing the very best education possible for students interested in pursuing careers in science related professions.
- Chemistry
  
  Chemistry prepares students for diverse fields, including medicine, biotechnology, the food industry, chemical engineering, research, education, business, and more.
- Physics
  
  Because of the myriad options that students with physics degrees have after graduation, you will choose a program of courses that will best serve your post-graduation plans.
- Chemistry Minor
  
  A minor in chemistry may be earned by completing a minimum of 21 credits in chemistry courses numbered 151 or higher, but excluding Chemistry 203 and 205, Essentials of Organic and Biochemistry, and CH314, Pharmacology, and including at least nine credits in courses numbered 300 or higher.
- Physics Minor
  
  There are many fields for which additional coursework in physics is useful, but not as much as it would take to get a major.
- Pre-Professional Program
  
  The Pre-Professional Program at �鶹Լ�� University dedicates its energy to preparing individuals for entry into and success in a post-graduate medical sciences program. Courses in science, social science, arts, and language balance those in biology and/or chemistry.
