Visiting Instructor

Dr. Park S. R. Parkison teaches writing and literature. He has a PhD in Literature from Purdue University, where he focused his studies on Victorian literature with a dissertation on the figure of the mad scientist in the late 19th century. He also has an MFA in Creative Nonfiction from Georgia College and State University, an MA in Literature from Marquette University and a BA from Beloit College in English Rhetoric and Classical Civilization. Park’s research and teaching interests include writing, science fiction, adaptations of Greek and Roman classics, and queer theory.
