Adjunct Faculty

Luis F. Peralta graduated with a degree in Modern Langages at Universidad AutΓ³noma de Santo Domingo (UASD). He also completed a Master's Degree in Education and Technology at American InterContinental University. Peralta has more than 35 years of experience in the teaching of ESL, Spanish, and cultural classes. He has conducted immersion courses to the Dominican Republic, Cuba and Costa Rica. He has also attended training seminars in Mexico, Honduras, and Panama.

 Peralta teaches beginning, continuing, intermediate and composition classes at MU. He has also taught classes of Latin American issues and Spanish Caribbean courses in campus and in the DR. He has been the former adviser for Sigma, Delta, Pi, the Spanish Honor Society as well as an adviser for LASO (Latin American Students Organization) at MU.

Peralta enjoys teaching Latin American music and dances, giving cultural presentations, and writing about cultural and Latin American topics.
