Dr. Denice Williams Love has been working in the field of Education for more than 30 years. Some of her roles have included: special education teacher in grades 2 through 9 in public schools in Illinois, Delaware, New Jersey, and Massachusetts, corporate trainer in the U.S. and England, curriculum developer and program evaluator for the University of Illinois, and Visiting Instructor for Illinois State University. She received her B.A. in Teacher of the Handicapped from Rowan University and her M.Ed. in Risk and Prevention and her Ed.D. in Human Development and Psychology from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Her research interests include finding strategies to foster academic achievement for students with special needs, identifying effective instructional stragegies - particularly in Elementary Math, and helping students in higher education to achieve the academic goals they set. She absolutely loves her students and colleagues at Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ, who inspire her every day.
